COMPETITION RESULTS - Squealers Award Winng BBQ's sucess on the BBQ competition circuit has paid off with an invite to the American Royal Invitational and American Royal Open competitions the weekend of September 30th.  The American Royal is one of the most prestigious competitions in the World with the Open competition being the biggest in the World with over 500 cooking teams.  In the Invitational Squealers Placed 16th Overall out of 147 teams with a 12th In Ribs and a 14th in Brisket.   In the Open Squealers Placed 49th out of  475 teams with a 23rd in Pork.

 

Squealers was also been invited to the one and only Jack Daniels World BBQ Invitational Championship, which is commonly considered the "Superbowl" of BBQ competitions, the weekend of October 22nd.  Only teams that have won a championship qualifier can qualify to be drawn; one team is drawn from each state's pool of championship qualifier winners.  Squealers was drawn for the champions of Indiana's qualifiers.  There was 89 championship teams, including 50 state championship qualifiers, international teams, and previous champions of The Jack.   Squealers showed well with and 8th in Pork and 20th in chicken and a 14th Overall place beating many past and present champions.
